Charley and Laura are getting married!

September 21, 2019
Twisted Oak Farm
912 White Post Road, White Post, VA
From 4:30 pm until we fall down dead

How do I get there?
White Post is twenty minutes south of Winchester, VA — about two and a half hours north of Richmond, an hour west of Dulles Airport, and two hours from Union Station in D.C. The farm is located at 912 White Post Road. Cell service can be spotty out there, so we recommend writing down directions before you leave. If you’re traveling a ways and want to get hooked up with other guests interested in sharing a rental car or AirBnB, let us know when you RSVP.
Where should I stay?
There are lots of options! Hotels in downtown Winchester, AirBnBs, bed and breakfasts, and there’s even a fancy resort with a mini pony named Cupcake, if you want to ball out. Or camp on the property and party with us all weekend! We’re allowed to camp in designated areas and there will definitely be s’mores.
What should I do before/after the wedding?
Here’s a map with some points of interest if you're getting in early (Dinosaur Land!).
We’ll have some kind of coffee and breakfast situation at the farm Sunday morning after the party, so please plan on swinging by on your way out of town. (More details on that to come.)
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel fun and fancy in! The reception will be in a barn with a real floor, but for the ceremony and other stuff we’ll be in the grass (so stilettos are probably not ideal). Here’s the average weather in Winchester at that time of year.
Where are you registered?
Don’t buy us anything. Traveling to help us celebrate is the best gift we could ask for. Really! Also we’re old and already have plenty of dishes.
That's not what I asked.
If you want to get us something, we’d love a copy of your favorite record to add to our collection. (Steady Sounds is our favorite spot for records in Richmond.) We’re also registered on Zola.
